¿Cuánto tiempo hace ya que te has ido?
No lo recuerdo casi.
Los días bajan, unos tras otros, a acostarse en su tumba desconocida sin que los sienta. Duermo. No te engañes: si me has encontrado un día por las calles y te he mirado, mis ojos iban ciegos y no veían.
Si te hallé en casa de amigos y hablamos, mi lengua dijo palabras sin sentido.
Si me diste la mano o te la di, en un sitio cualquiera, eran los músculos, sólo los músculos, los que oprimieron.

En este poema, Alfonsina hace referencia a un amor pasado, que aparentemente, no pudo olvidar. A pesar de que ya termino hace tiempo, su amor por esta persona se ve reflejado en cada momento de su vida. Yo lo relacione con una canción de Gloria Estefan, y con una frase de Pablo Neruda

Pablo Neruda:“Es tan corto el amor y tan largo el olvido”.

El poema de Alfonsina, La canción de Gloria Estefan, y la frase de Neruda, se relacionan ya que todas hablan de la analogía entre el amor y el olvido. La canción, tanto como el poema, se refieren a un amor ausente pero que a la vez sigue presente.
También me pareció interesante relacionarlo con un libro llamado Es tan largo el olvido, de Poldy Bird. Tanto en el poema como en el libro, muestran una tristeza descomunal a causa del amor ya sin vida, que con tantas ganas intentan olvidar.

Libro: La vida era la vida, y no esta cosa que aprieta la garganta tan peligrosamente, este llanto estancado, este poquito de aire que apenitas alcanza, esta falta de sed, de hambre, de esperanza.
